Location: Anchorage, AKCompensation: Salary: $649,656k + $25k for call Sign on Bonus: $50,000 CME Allowance: $6,000 Relocation: $20,000Benefits: Health, Dental and Vision 401K IHS Student Loan Repayment - $25,000 / year guaranteed Paid Time off: 6.5 weeks 12 paid holidays 2 weeks CME Pet Insurance On-Campus Child Care Schedule: Mon- Fri 8AM 6PM May involve On Call Setting: Level II Trauma Center providing care to outpatients and inpatientsQualifications & Requirements Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Valid Alaska License or ability to obtain COVID Vaccine RequiredResponsibilities: Manage outpatients in clinic Provide consults for adult inpatients Perform 15-25 procedures per week See 10-14 patients in office per day Handle 7-10 inpatient consults per week Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to working with diverse populations Support Staff: Case manager Assistant case managers CNA ERCP and EUS procedures are not performed by Gastroenterology
