About the Role:
We are seeking a highly capable and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our condominium community. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills along with the ability to independently manage daily building operations when needed. The ideal candidate is confident, experienced, and able to step into a lead capacity if required.
Core Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical, and building systems
Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service logs
Respond to emergency repairs independently and professionally
Maintain inventory control and proper use of parts and materials
Compliance and Safety
Adhere to all federal, state, and local safety regulations
Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials
Maintain a safe environment for residents, staff, and vendors
Follow reporting and documentation procedures accurately
Resident Relations
Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
Communicate clearly and respectfully with homeowners and stakeholders
Maintain a service-focused and solution-oriented mindset
Qualifications
Minimum 4 to 5 years of residential or condominium maintenance experience
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
EPA 608 Certification required, Universal certification preferred
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems including Excel and Word
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to move throughout the property and navigate stairs
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and equipment safely
