Join The Red Crew!We offer great rewards, competitive pay, career advancement and growth opportunities.1 st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pmPay Rate starting at: $23.00 - $27.00, depending on skillset and experience Full Time Teammates are also eligible for: Hourly & Weekly PayPaid TrainingPaid Time Off plus paid holidays401(k) with Company matching on a dollar-for-dollar basisEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Group Health Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision & DisabilityBasic and Supplemental Life InsuranceRefresh and Grow your Career with Us!Diesel Maintenance Technician (C)Job OverviewVehicle Technician C will work closely with an experienced technician to gain the knowledge and ability by performing maintenance and repairs on all types of customer's vehicles and equipment, to perform job duties independently; learn to recognize potential problems that could result in mechanical failures and, or safety violations.Duties & Responsibilities:Perform minor repairs and wear item replacement, including performing preventative maintenance,repairing lights, and replacing wiresStudy under Technicians A and B to complete training and to gain knowledge for future repairsPartner withTechnicians Aand B to maintain accurate parts inventory, research, resolve all discovered inventory discrepancies and notify maintenance management when a resolution is not availableMaintain a clean and safe work area andwarehousePerformother duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesBasic knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance and ability to identify major componentsBasic electrical, mechanical diagnostics, and repairKnowledge and ability to mount and dismount tiresAbility to diagnose and repair lights and wiringMust adhere to company uniform and appearance standardsProfessional and appropriate interaction with internal and external customersAbility to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions tools, equipment, machinery and, or materials used to power, hand, diagnostic tools operate material handling equipmentMust be capable of driving company equipment including class 8 tractors working conditionsMust be able to work a exible schedule and be able to vary the start and nish times, possibly including weekends and holidaysBasic computer skillsEach Technician needs to provide their own tools Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDKnowledge acquired through up to 12 months of relevant work experienceD.O.T.
