You'll partner closely with teams across Computer Vision, Product, Engineering, Operations, and R&D to improve how we build, validate, and deliver 3D models at scale.This is an opportunity to work on complex, real-world challenges at the intersection of AI, automation, and 3D modeling. You'll help shape the future of Hover's production systems by identifying opportunities to increase automation, improve quality, reduce turnaround times, and unlock new product capabilities. Your work will have a direct impact on both customer experience and the evolution of our platform.You will contribute byAnalyze and optimize end-to-end 3D reconstruction and modeling workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and qualityIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and accelerate production turnaround timesDesign, test, and iterate on workflows that combine AI-driven systems with targeted human expertiseDefine and monitor operational metrics to measure quality, speed, automation performance, and business impactRun experiments, pilot programs, and process improvement initiatives to evaluate new approaches and technologiesPartner closely with Product, Engineering, Computer Vision, Operations, and R&D teams to bring improvements into productionDevelop documentation, training materials, and operational best practices to support successful adoption of new processes and toolsServe as a subject matter expert on critical production workflows and help guide future automation strategyYour background includes4+ years of experience working with 3D modeling workflows in architecture, interior design, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, construction technology, or related industriesProficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar 3D modeling tools (SketchUp strongly preferred)Strong understanding of production workflows, process optimization, or operational systemsExperience using data to identify bottlenecks, measure impact, and drive decision makingProven ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and systems-thinking skillsExperience testing, implementing, or supporting process improvements in complex operational environmentsBonus PointsExperience using AI-assisted development tools, automation tools, or lightweight scripting to prototype and evaluate ideasFamiliarity with photogrammetry, reality capture, 3D reconstruction, mapping systems, or digital twin technologiesExposure to Python, SQL, Tableau, or other data and automation toolsExperience working in human-in-the-loop systems or AI-enabled production environmentsBenefitsCompensation - Competitive salary and meaningful equity in a fast-growing companyHealthcare - Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and dependentsPaid Time Off - Unlimited and flexible vacation policy Paid Family Leave - We support work/life balance and offer generous paid parental and new child bonding leave Mandatory Self-Care Days - A day set aside each month to allow employees to recharge Remote Wellbeing Resources - We provide recurring fitness classes, meditation/ mindfulness tools, virtual therapy, and family planning assistance Learning - We encourage continued education and will help cover the cost of management training, conferences, workshops, or certificationsHybrid roles at HoverHover has Hubs in San Francisco and New York City, where we expect that all employees living within a 50-mile radius of our offices will come into their local Hover office at least three times a week to build rapport and foster organic connection. At this time, Hover is not considering fully remote roles.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000 - $182,000 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all applicable US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
