Lead Shipping/Receiving

Lead Shipping/Receiving Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping/Receiving process, including coordinating shipments, assisting with inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to production floor. Assist in directing activities of shipping/receiving associates.Essential FunctionsAssist in directing shipping/receiving clerks to ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders.Ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed in a timely and accurate manner.Ensuring Kanban milk runs / refills and material pulls for production floor are done in timely and accurate manner.Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.Assist with inventory counts and audits.Maintaining a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.Developing and implementing procedures to improve efficiency to reduce errors.Training new employees in shipping/receiving processes and procedures.Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in shipping/receiving operations.Organizational and time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.Detail-oriented with problem solving abilities.Skills & AbilitiesMS Office Suite, SAP experience preferredEffective communication skillsDetail orientedGood understanding of process and process organizationForklift license
