Come join our TJX family—a Fortune 100 company and the world's leading off-price retailer.The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, and shortage root cause analysis. Works closely with the Lead Specialist, and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.Responsibilities:Provide protection of all company assets, including people, property and informationMonitor Shipping/Receiving docks, trailer yard activities, alarm systems and access controls, parking lots and all other key areas in the Distribution CenterMonitor the movement of trailers/vehicle traffic entering or leaving the yard areaMonitor merchandise entering or leaving the facilityMaintenance of established fire and safety regulations within the Distribution CenterEnsures incoming and outgoing trailers are processedMaintains a professional manner and can effectively handle all situationsConduct CCTV surveillance and investigate potential dishonest activityDisplay integrity and maintain confidentialityRequirements:Strong interpersonal and communication skillsStrong conflict resolution skillsComputer skillsLoss prevention experience preferred but not required.Education pertaining to the Criminal Justice Field preferred but not required.Shift: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pmShift Differential available.Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs; auto/home insurance discounts; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; child care/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.
