Oracle and SQL Server Database Administrator (Contract) Location: Los Angeles, CA 90017 (remote initially, transitioning to on‑site in Pomona or Downtown Los Angeles). Work schedule: Monday–Friday, first shift. Contract length: 3–6 months. Start ASAP. Pay rate depending on experience.Job DescriptionSenior Oracle Apps DBA with 10+ years of experience, primarily in Oracle database, also acting as a SQL Server DBA.Support change management including maintenance across multiple environments and deploying approved patches.Support security/SOX audit reporting and provide input and recommendations.Provide production and operational support, and on‑call duties.Database AdministrationCreating users, tablespaces, logs.Performance tuning.Upgrades, capacity management, auto configuration.Disaster recovery, backup and cloning, security.Technical patch management (Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle ADI, XML, Publisher, Workflow).Hands‑on experience with AD utilities: ADOP, ADADMIN, ADPATCH, ADCONFIG, ADCTRL, ADSPLICER, ADRELINK.Single sign‑on implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite.SQL Server AdministrationDevelop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions.Research required data.Build useful reporting deliverables.Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.Suggest new queries for continuous system improvements.Detailed knowledge of SQL Server.Experience with high‑availability and disaster‑recovery solutions: failover cluster instances, availability groups, database mirroring, log shipping, backups and restores.EnvironmentOracle EBS 11, 12.2.9 and up.Oracle Real Application Clusters 12c, 19c, 11gR2.Linux OS and Windows OS.Grid Control.Toad, SQL Developer, iAS, Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Java, Enterprise Manager, SOA, WebLogic, JVM, SSO, DataGuard.SQL Server databases, MS‑SQL.GitHub.SQL Server 2017 and up.T‑SQL.Veterans Preference Special preference will be given to returning war veterans when hiring new employees in an attempt to recognize their service, sacrifice, and skills.Equal Opportunity Employer Intratek Computer Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
