Senior Portfolio Advisor
Position Title: Senior Portfolio AdvisorBusiness Unit: WM - FNTCReports to: Market Executive - Wealth ManagementPosition Overview:This position is primarily responsible for managing and expanding an assigned group of high-net-worth investment portfolios for individual and institutional clients (Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Agency Accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Pension Plans, Foundations and Endowments). The incumbent manages the larger, more complex relationships within the Investment Advisory Group and supervises less experienced Portfolio Advisors.Primary Responsibilities:Manages a group of complex, high net worth investment portfolios for individuals and institutions according to the corporation's investment policies and procedures. Defines each client’s service expectations and strives to exceed those expectations.Coordinates with the appropriate wealth management team members to develop an investment policy statement defining client risk tolerances and investment objectives. Initiates changes to investment portfolios to coincide with changes in client objectives or corporate asset allocation or tactical recommendations.Expands the book of business by identifying opportunities within the assigned group of accounts. Works with Client Advisors, Wealth Advisors and centers of influence (internal and external) to attract new wealth clients to the corporation. Identifies cross-sell opportunities where appropriate to solve client’s various financial needs.Applies an expert knowledge of portfolio management, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, pensions, individual retirement accounts, foundations and endowments, equity and fixed income markets, economics, asset allocation and trading.Supervises and mentors less experienced portfolio managers.Composes written and verbal presentation effectively with both internal and external clients, prospects and in external speaking engagements.Completes all required corporate training in a timely manner. Completes compliance and required regulatory requirements associated with the assigned book of business in a timely manner.Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily as required by F.N.B.
