We’re Hiring: Operations Manager (NYC – Catering & Hospitality)M&G Foodstuff is growing — and we’re looking for a serious manager to step in and run the engine.We’re a boutique catering company based in NYC working with top brands, agencies, and production teams. The product is high-end, fast-paced, and detail-obsessed. This role isn’t about maintaining — it’s about owning operations and leveling them up.What this role actually is:You’ll be running day-to-day operations across kitchen logistics, drivers, events, and systems. If something breaks, you fix it. If something’s inefficient, you improve it. If the team needs structure, you build it.This is a leadership role with real authority — not a coordinator position.What you’ll own:- Daily kitchen + logistics operations- Driver team, routing, and delivery execution- Event packing, setup, and on-the-ground problem solving- Staffing, hiring, training, and culture- Inventory, ordering, and operational systems- Cost tracking, reporting, and efficiency improvementsYou’ll be the person making sure everything runs smoothly — and stepping in when it doesn’t.Who this is for:- 3+ years running operations in catering, hospitality, or food production- Calm under pressure — you don’t panic when things get chaotic- Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and decisive- Strong leader who can build and manage teams- Not afraid to get hands-on (this is not a desk job)Reality of the role:Early starts (6/7am), fast pace, constant moving parts. You’ll be on your feet, in the kitchen, on-site at events, and in the middle of everything. Must have a drivers license. Why this role matters:We’re building toward the next stage of the business.
