Senior Quality EngineerLocation: Lowell, MA (On‑site) Industry: Semiconductor / Defense / AerospaceA global semiconductor manufacturer supporting data center, telecom, industrial, automotive, and defense markets is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to support high‑reliability products within diode and MMIC business units. This role provides hands‑on quality leadership across manufacturing, testing, inspections, customer interface, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day‑to‑day quality support for customer and internal issues including spec reviews, source inspections, returns, and root‑cause analysisLead quality reviews with Operations and Business Unit partners to ensure compliance with customer, internal, and aerospace requirements (AS9100D)Support growing automotive quality systems (IATF 16949) as applicableInterface with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical and quality complianceSupport and conduct First Article Inspections (AS9102)Prepare and present customer‑facing 8D investigations and corrective actionsApply and guide use of Control Plans and FMEAs; act as a quality "change agent"Support site quality system initiatives and continuous improvement effortsQualificationsBS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline5+ years of quality or engineering experience supporting semiconductor or electronic componentsExperience in Military/Aerospace and/or Automotive high‑reliability environmentsStrong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and device theoryWorking knowledge of military, aerospace, and/or automotive quality standardsAbility to build and evaluate high‑reliability screening and test plansExperience with statistical sampling and data analysis (JMP, Minitab a plus)Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skillsAdditional DetailsLow travel (<10%)On‑site roleCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefitsU.S. Person status required due to export regulations
