If you enjoy working with your hands, are dependable, and want a career where you can grow and contribute to critical communications infrastructure, this is a strong entry point into the telecom industry.Connecting You To Great BenefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What You’ll DoSupport all phases of underground telecom construction, including loading and unloading materials, delivering equipment to work sites, digging trenches, potholing, backfilling, and preparing areas for cable placementInstall underground fiber/telecommunications cabling and assist with operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment (such as trenchers, compactors, vacs, and locating tools)Maintain safe, clean, and organized work zones, including traffic and jobsite safety setups, and help restore grounds and surfaces after constructionPerform physical labor in all weather conditions, including lifting 60+ lbs regularly, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces or remote areasFollow work plans, safety procedures, and direction from crew leads and foremen to ensure efficient and high-quality workCommunicate clearly with team members to support safe operations and problem solving on the jobComplete basic daily reporting such as production logs, jobsite notes, and equipment checksUse proper PPE and equipment daily and participate in required safety meetings and trainingTake initiative to support the crew with any additional labor or tasks needed to complete the job safely and on timeWhat You’ll NeedMust be 18 years of age or olderValid driver's license with reliable transportationAbility to pass all pre-employment screeningsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experienceAbility to perform physical labor, lift 55+ lbs, and work outdoors in all weather conditionsStrong communication skills & ability to follow direction/safety proceduresReliable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a crewPrevious experience with hand tools, construction equipment, or utility/construction work preferred (we will train motivated candidates)Previous experience in telecom, utility, construction, or related fieldFamiliarity with underground locating equipment or fiber installation toolsExperience operating small construction equipment (trencher, mini excavator, compactor, vac truck, etc.)Basic mechanical or maintenance skills a plusAbility to read jobsite plans, maps, or utility printsStrong teamwork mindset and willingness to support various tasks on sitePhysical Abilities & ExposuresRoutinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouseWhy grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
