Details Mixed acuity PCU and Med/Surg unit within a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) oncology setting Patient population includes diagnoses such as ALL, AML, CLL, CML, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Myeloproliferative Disorders, Aplastic Anemia, and Amyloidosis Specialized procedures include autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR-T therapy Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts (7:00–19:30 days / 19:00–7:30 nights), 3 days per week Shift assignments (days, nights, or a combination) are determined by the department and reviewed every 4-week scheduling period Requirements Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS and ONS Chemotherapy Certification Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required ACLS preferred Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg and oncology experience required Required skills: telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, Rapid Response Team protocols, feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral and PICC line management, and nasal cannula administration 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Care for a complex oncology population undergoing stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy in a mixed acuity PCU/Med/Surg environment All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who require a 30-day break) American Traveler Job ID P-686180.
