Automotive Technician

Location : San Francisco, CAPay : $46.00 – $53.00 per hourSchedule : Full-time (multiple shifts available)JOB OVERVIEW: We are hiring a Vehicle Technician to support maintenance, diagnostics, and readiness of autonomous fleet vehicles. This role focuses on repairs, inspections, and working closely with engineering teams to ensure vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for testing and deployment.RESPONSIBILITIES : Perform vehicle maintenance, repairs, and diagnosticsConduct multi-point inspections and system checksDocument findings and service records accuratelyTest and validate completed work for quality controlSupport vehicle setup, configuration, and readiness for operationsCoordinate repairs and escalate issues to engineering teamsAssist with parts inventory and shop organizationMaintain tools, equipment, and service areaFollow all safety and regulatory standardsTravel locally as needed to support fleet operationsREQUIREMENTS: 2–5+ years of automotive technician experienceStrong knowledge of vehicle repair, diagnostics, and toolsValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to pass background check, MVR, and drug screenStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsExperience with CAN systems, wiring, or diagnostics preferredExperience in lab or engineering environments is a plusForklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredFULL SHIFT SCHEDULE: Wednesday – Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2 openings)Tuesday – Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMWednesday – Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMThursday – Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMSunday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PMSunday – Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMTuesday – Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMThursday – Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMFriday – Tuesday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PMPowered by JazzHR
