Details 13-week contract at an acute care hospital (277 staffed beds) in Santa Rosa, CA Labor & Delivery unit with a 1:3 patient ratio Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 4x12 schedule available upon request Epic EMR required Scrubs are provided for L&D staff Floating between like units and across all facilities within the state is required Requirements Active CA RN license required; pending licenses not accepted Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification preferred Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery and postpartum experience required — this is a hard requirement Epic EMR experience required At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are not eligible for this position Local candidates are not accepted All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; post-offer RTO requests may be denied Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility Orientation is 36 hours Refusal to float may result in assignment termination American Traveler Job ID P-689209.
