COMPANY OVERVIEW: A specialty services providerPOSITION TITLE: Director of Business Development ManagerCOMPENSATION: Competitive Salary + DOEBENEFITS: Standard packageLOCATION: East Coast RegionSUMMARY: This individual will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies that expand market share within refining, petrochemical, power generation, and broader industrial sectors. The role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, relationship-driven sales, and executive-level engagement with owner-operators, EPCs, and industrial service buyers.Duties Or ResponsibilitiesLead business development strategy for rotating equipment services across target marketsDevelop and maintain high-level relationships with:Refinery and petrochemical owner-operatorsPower generation facilitiesEPC firms and industrial contractorsIdentify and secure new revenue opportunities tied to:Turbine services (steam/gas)Compressor maintenance and overhaulsField services, outages, and turnaroundsDrive long-cycle sales efforts from opportunity identification through contract executionCollaborate with operations and technical teams to align service capabilities with client needsPosition UPS as a value-added partner through consultative selling and solution-based offeringsTrack market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within rotating equipment servicesSupport proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiationsMeet and exceed revenue and growth targetsExperience And Qualifications10+ years of business development or sales leadership experience in:Industrial servicesRotating equipment (turbines, compressors, pumps)Refining, petrochemical, or power sectorsStrong existing relationships across Gulf Coast industrial marketsProven track record of generating and closing high-value service contractsDeep understanding of:Mechanical turnaround environmentsMaintenance and reliability programsRotating equipment lifecycle servicesAbility to communicate effectively with both technical stakeholders and executive leadershipExperience managing long sales cycles and complex deal structuresSelf-starter with a strategic, growth-oriented mindsetPLEASE NOTE: We try to respond to everyone who applies for our jobs, but in periods of high activity it may not be possible.
