This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, supporting production flow, and maintaining a safe working environment. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, torch cutting machinery, and steel-cutting band sawsPerform preventive maintenance to reduce unplanned downtimeRespond to equipment issues in a timely and safe mannerCoordinate with outside contractors and maintain their safety while in the buildingSupport facility maintenance, including minor plumbing, carpentry, and repairsMaintain accurate maintenance records and document completed workManage inventory of maintenance supplies, consumables, and repair partsFollow all safety procedures and reinforce safe work practices during maintenance activitiesQualificationsRequired Skills and QualificationsElectrical troubleshooting skills (AC and DC systems)Mechanical troubleshooting experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systemsAbility to work independently and prioritize work in a fast paced environmentBasic computer skills for documentation, work orders, and recordkeepingStrong attention to safety, quality, and detail  Preferred ExperienceIndustrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceExperience supporting material handling equipment and production machineryWelding or fabrication experience  Why This Role MattersThis position directly supports operational uptime, employee safety, and production reliability.
