Account Executive - Department of Defense (Army)

If you are passionate about driving growth, influencing key decision-makers, and shaping the future of enterprise IT, this is your chance to make a significant impact.ResponsibilitiesFormulate a competitive sales strategy tailored to your territory.Oversee a specific sales territory consisting of medium to large enterprise accounts, staying current with industry trends in cloud computing and financing options.Build and maintain a robust customer base.Position Red River as a premier provider of solutions and services.Drive revenue growth and margin improvement through your account management.Exhibit technical knowledge in networking and datacenter infrastructure.Stay informed about new and existing products in the market.Demonstrate proficiency in sales methodologies, including prospecting and pipeline management.Understand customer pain points and collaboratively develop tailored solutions.Minimum Requirements5-10 years of experience in IT sales.Preferred QualificationsMid-level certifications from OEM training programs.College or associate degree is preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesA proven track record in developing comprehensive account plans and strategies.Experience in selling professional and managed services.Strong ability to cultivate relationships with C-level executives and understand key business drivers.Expertise in securing large multi-year IT contracts.Familiarity with federal contracting and acquisition processes.Understanding of federal budgeting cycles and buying behaviors.Ability to navigate public sources for government solicitations and opportunities.Knowledge of industry CRM applications.Experience with OEM business processes and discount structure negotiations.Outstanding presentation skills and ability to lead customer meetings effectively.Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage vendors and clients professionally and promptly.Strong phone etiquette, including active listening and proficient technical language.Proficient writing skills for professional communication with clients and vendors.Demonstrated success in a high-volume sales environment with an emphasis on accuracy and customer understanding.Essential ElementsThis role requires excellent communication with co-workers using approved tools and equipment.Special RequirementsThis is a remote position, with up to 100% of customer interactions occurring in the field.Basic QualificationsU.S. Citizenship required.Red River offers a competitive salary, an exceptional benefits package, and a collaborative work environment.
