Accounting Manager

Accounting Manager | PE Backed | High-Growth Infrastructure Consulting Firm | Fairfield, CTWe’re partnering on an Accounting Manager to join a rapidly growing, global professional services Infrastructure firm. This is a high-impact role within a dynamic finance organization supporting a business experiencing consistent double-digit growth and expansion across multiple geographies. This position offers strong exposure to technical accounting, financial reporting, and transformation initiatives, with direct interaction across senior leadership and international teams. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex US GAAP matters (revenue recognition, leases, stock comp, business combinations, etc.) Support consolidated financial reporting, including audited financials and footnotes Own balance sheet review processes across domestic and international entities Partner with auditors and lead key components of the audit and statutory reporting processes Drive finance transformation initiatives, improving workflows, controls, and close processes Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal control frameworks Identify and implement process improvements across reporting, compliance, and systems What They’re Looking For: 5+ years of experience, public accounting or industry Strong technical US GAAP expertise and ability to apply it in a practical setting Experience with financial reporting and audit interaction Exposure to transformation projects, process improvement, or system implementations Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex accounting topics Self-starter who can operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
