Private Credit Associate

We're partnering with a leading investment manager focused on asset-backed specialty finance and structured credit strategies to identify a Analyst/Associate to join their Private Credit team.The firm invests across public and private credit markets and is recognized for its expertise in structured products, asset-backed financing solutions, and opportunistic investments in financial assets. The team brings deep experience across trading, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management within specialty finance and structured credit.This is a highly analytical, front-office opportunity offering direct exposure to deal underwriting, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring alongside senior investment professionals.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Originations and Investment team across:Underwriting and credit analysisFinancial modeling and data analysisInvestment memo preparation and documentation reviewTransaction execution from screening through closingPortfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, and risk rating updatesMarket research including pricing, terms, and competitive dynamicsOngoing support for portfolio and risk management initiativesQualifications2–3 years of experience within private credit, specialty finance, structured credit, leveraged finance, or a related investment environmentBachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related disciplineStrong analytical and quantitative skill setAdvanced Excel proficiency; exposure to Python, VBA, or SQL is a plusDemonstrated interest in credit investing, structuring, and financial analysisStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
