Job Summary and Qualifications• Provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and safety in assigned areas of responsibility• Collaborates with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families• Manages resources in a fiscally responsible manner• Supports the mission and vision of the facility, division and company• Assures quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement processWhat qualifications you will need• Associates or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri as a registered nurse is required• Certifications in area of specialty, BCLS and ACLS is required and to be maintained• Minimum 3 years of manager/charge experience and 2 years staff nurse experience in area of specialty (inpatient acute care units) required.Additional InformationMedical Surgical - 49 Beds Unit (split into two units); Intermediate Care level, General, urology, vascular post-surgical patients. Tele Monitoring and behavioral health care. 1:5 Nurse to Patient Ratio; Collaborative support with PCTs, LPNs, Charge NursesLevel I Trauma Center75 full time direct reports
