Ally Waste is searching for a Bulk Supervisor!Pay: $40k to $50k per year, Depending on ExperiencePosition Summary: The Bulk Supervisor role consists of redistributing trash flow, cleaning up around dumpsters and compactors, and maintaining detailed reports.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provide guidance, leadership, and direction to the bulk and leveling team.Ensure that furniture hauling and cleaning tasks are completed to the required standards.Manage and replenish supplies needed for cleaning tasks.Using a company truck, drive to 15-20 properties daily on assigned routeCheck in, take photos, and document bulky items/furniture at each property using our proprietary appSweep up around each dumpster or compactorBreak down large boxes and ensure proper recycling practices are being followedWhere necessary, move trash bags from one dumpster to another to eliminate overflowing trashWork quickly and efficiently to complete route before waste hauler arrivesAct as a Waste Leveler for staff coverageOther duties as assigned, subject to operational needQualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Waste management/environmental service experience is a plus.Certificates And LicensesMaintain A Current Valid Driver's LicenseMust meet eligibility of the Company's Insurance PolicySupervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise other employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Pre‑Employment ScreeningCandidates selected for hire may be required to complete a pre‑employment drug screening, consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Screening may include testing for marijuana where permitted by relevant regulations. Compliance with all screening requirements is a condition of employment.Additional Screening Requirements For Driving PositionsPositions that involve driving company vehicles or driving on company business are subject to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
