Job Description:
HPE is looking for a Systems/SW engineer to join our High-Performance Computing software integration team. This is a great opportunity to work on a leading-edge technology and deliver world’s fastest large-scale supercomputers. The responsibilities include developing the custom SW environment to configure, integrate, manage and monitor large-scale high-performance computing solutions.
Job Description:
Design, develop, implement and troubleshoot software solutions for large-scale High-Performance Compute systems. Develop innovative software solutions including configuration tools, integrated software stack, monitoring and diagnostic utilities for all system components including processors, memory, networks and parallel filesystems. Participate in bringing up the system from bare metal to a fully functional supercomputer that meets the rigorous customer requirements. Collaborate across organizations and external partners to deliver a stable and fully tested solution.
Responsibilities:
Implement SW solutions to configure, integrate and manage large-scale HPC clusters.
Develop and enhance custom tools for system integration, system monitoring, inventory, and diagnostics.
Diagnose and resolve system-level issues, analyze and tune performance at scale to deliver a stable and fully tested solution.
Collaborate across multiple organizations (engineering, pre-sales, factory, field) and external partners (processors, interconnects, storage) to deliver a fully functional solution.
Drive innovation and integration of new networking, storage, processor and GPU technologies into large-scale customer solutions.
Participate in all phases of the large-scale solution delivery: design based on user requirements, implementation, qualification, deployment, and customer support.
Qualifications: Systems/SW engineer with system/SW experience and Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Background in Systems/Software Engineering and implementing software solutions. Experience in High-Performance Computing. Skills: Linux hands-on experience, SW development, scripting, Ansible automation, computer architecture and excellent problem-solving skills.
Typically 3+ years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Hands-on experience in Linux and scripting languages.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with High Performance Computing technologies.
Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with internal organizations and external partners.

USD Annual Salary: $99,500.00 - $228,000.00
