Supporting the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) team, you’ll help drive production rate increases and next-generation technology upgrades.Your expertise will directly influence production efficiency, product quality, and delivery performance—ensuring mission-critical systems are built to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, and implement manufacturing processes, strategies, and production plansCreate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), work instructions, and build documentationLead integration of suppliers, materials, processes, and technologies into manufacturing operationsDevelop tooling concepts and manage tooling lifecycle from design through dispositionConduct producibility assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize build flowsAnalyze manufacturing performance and prepare cost estimates and build analysesIdentify and resolve complex manufacturing issues impacting cost, schedule, or qualityLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve cycle timesEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standardsDevelop scheduling templates, work statements, and process documentationSupport benchmarking and implementation of best practices across the enterpriseThis is a fully onsite role in Huntsville, AL, working 1st shift (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday).Required Qualifications8+ years of experience in manufacturing planning and production supportStrong experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, work instructions, and standardized processesExperience with CAD software and manufacturing simulation toolsProven problem-solving, communication, and project management skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environmentU.S. Person status required (must meet export compliance requirements)Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (post-start)Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree in a STEM-related field (or equivalent experience)Experience with Model-Based Design and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Familiarity with MES systems (e.g., MESci) and Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems (e.g., CompassContract)Experience with engineering data management tools such as Windchill or Siemens TeamcenterStrong collaboration and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical conceptsExperience supporting defense or aerospace manufacturing programsWhy Join UsThrough PDS Tech Commercial, you’ll contribute to programs that support national defense and advanced aerospace innovation.
