Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. This contract position is designed to offer maternity leave coverage for the upcoming school year, supporting students' access to learning and engagement in daily school activities. With a focus on four high schools, you'll make a daily difference while collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff.Key Qualifications:Current Minnesota Occupational Therapy license required and must be submitted with your resume for presentationPrevious experience working as an OT in schools, particularly at the high school level, is highly valuedStrong communication skills for effective interdisciplinary collaborationComfort and reliability in covering a maternity leave positionAbility to manage a school-based caseload independentlyKey Responsibilities:Provide direct and consultative OT services to high school students, supporting IEP goals and engagement in educational routinesConduct assessments and create individualized intervention plans based on student needsCollaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirementsSupport inclusive practices, adaptive strategies, and classroom modifications as neededThis full-time contract runs approximately from early September 2026 through early February 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule and a daily commitment aligning with standard school hours.If you're eager to support teens in their academic journey and are ready for a meaningful contract experience, share your updated resume and MN OT license today.
