Directs, plans, and coordinates the service activities and staffing performance of professional nursing and auxiliary nursing personnel in rendering quality patient care. Provides direct patient care. Responsibilities include:Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care to patients. Such provisions of care include, but are not limited to:Patient assessment, clinical and environmentalPatient and caregiver teachingDevelopment and revision of the plan of careSkilled nursing careImplementation of physician ordersMonitoring of patient responseResponse to emergency patient needsPsychosocial supportSelects, trains, develops and motivates a highly skilled professional nursing and allied staff. Assures that departmental staff complete orientation, maintain clinical competence, participate in continuing education, received counseling and are evaluated in a timely manner. Oversees the receipt, evaluation, acceptance and execution of the initial patient intake process to assure that patient verification, assessment, teaching and the ongoing scheduling of nursing services occurs in a timely and appropriate manner. Assures that all patient related documentation and clinical and departmental reports are accurately completed, submitted and/or filed in a timely manner, according to internal and external regulatory requirements and in support of the billing process. Participates in planning, decision-making and implementation of all service center activities that affect clinical nursing services and the performance of the multi-disciplinary team. Assists in the management of a department budget using a modified primary nursing model and assures that other department functions proceed without interruption. Secures and maintains all applicable internal, professional, local, state, federal and voluntary licensures, certifications, accreditations and employment requirements as required of staff and department. Works closely with the Regional Business Leader, VP of Nursing Area Vice President to assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical and administrative policies, procedures, programs and systems. Assures own professional growth and clinical competence. Adheres to all policies, procedures and standards of conduct. Reports to the appropriate management any known or suspected violations of policies, procedures, regulations or standards of conduct. Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning. Schedule:Must be able to work 100 percent in officeThis position is a regional role and will have coverage over the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and NebraskaMust be able to travel to the locations listed aboveMust be able to participate in an on-call rotationMust be knowledgeable and have used the following IV access devices to include: IV lines, accessing ports, and administration of infusion medicationsMust be able to provide infusions to patients in their homes as well as the infusion suite as neededMust have experience working as a Nurse Manager/Regional Nurse manager, Specialty Infusion Pharmacy preferredMust have a multistate RN license for the state of Minnesota in good standingRequirementsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN preferredCurrent RN Licensure by the applicable state(s) Board of Nursing, in good standing- MinnesotaMinimum 5 years Nursing practice in a related specialty such as home infusion and or specialty infusion, home health, oncology, nutrition support, IV therapy or critical careMinimum 5 years Pediatric Nursing experience idealClinical expertise in IV therapies with monitoring, skill and knowledge of all types of IV linesMinimum 2 years management experience, proven ability to manage, train and educate staff on new protocols and existing standard operating proceduresAbility to work with all levels of employees in a fast-paced clinical environment and manage multiple complex projectsKnowledge of vascular access devices and infusion therapiesKnowledge of State licensed, non-certified, home health agency regulations as applicableAbility to directly supervise and manage staff for a licensed home health agency as applicableStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with MS OfficeAdvanced certification a plus (i.e., CRNI, IgCN)About Us: Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
