Position Summary: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and enthusiastic Program Coordinator to lead the day-to-day operations of our STEM Empowerment Summer Camp. This individual will play a key leadership role in finalizing camp registrations, communicating with parents, ensuring that camp programming runs smoothly throughout the day, and supporting mentors. The Program Coordinator will also oversee logistics for daily meals and snacks, and support efforts to secure community sponsorships or in-kind donations to enhance the camp experienceKey Responsibilities:●Oversee daily camp operations and ensure all sessions start and end on time●Coordinate and support camp mentors and interns●Manage participant attendance, engagement, and behavior in a supportive manner●Assist with supply management and on-site logistics●Coordinate lunch and snack arrangements for campers and staff●Explore opportunities for community sponsorships or in-kind donations●Communicate with parents via email and newsletters●Ensure all camp activities align with safety protocols and camp values●Support data collection, feedback, and final program wrap-upQualifications:●Experience working with youth (preferably in STEM, education, or camp environments)●Excellent organizational and leadership skills●Strong verbal and written communication abilities●Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment●Ability to handle basic coordination of food/snack logistics●Must be available for the entire camp period (June 22–June 26, 2026)●CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)Position Details:●Dates: June 1 – July 17, 2026 (flexibility with start date)●Time Commitment: Approximately 25 hours/week●Location: Southside STEM Station, Chicago, IL●Compensation: $3,000 (based on 6 weeks x 25 hours/week x $20/hour)●Reports to: Camp Director/Executive Program LeadTo Apply: Send your resume and a short statement of interest to info@iambbinc.com by May 29, 2026.
