About the Opportunity: The Project Manager I in the GOAT / Acquisition Team is responsible for leading client acquisition onboarding projects. This role ensures disciplined work management, risk reduction, and high-quality client service by coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and fostering effective communication to meet project goals and timelines.3. Responsibilities:Onboard clients and new populations using agile and change management practices.Create, maintain, and adjust work schedules to keep projects on track.Influence adherence to schedules, task ownership, and timely deliverables.Communicate effectively with leaders, clients, brokers, and team members.Identify and manage risks through action and contingency plans.Meet established key performance indicators and quality standards.Support timely project completion aligned with objectives.Foster a high-functioning team environment with clear expectations.Utilize approved AI tools to improve documentation and communication efficiency.Generate and maintain project documentation including SOPs, plans, and logs.Identify efficiency improvements based on data and recurring risks.Lead resource planning and reporting on capacity and bottlenecks.Maintain accurate, timely updates in project management systems.Validate AI-assisted outputs for accuracy and appropriateness.Implement best practices from project management and internal sources.Prepare presentations and materials to share insights internally and externally.Contribute to playbooks, templates, and process improvements for scalability.Support team growth by sharing knowledge and reinforcing standards.Perform other duties as assigned.4. Requirements:Minimum 2 years of project management experience; preferred in acquisition, implementation, client onboarding, or benefits administration.Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.Preferred experience with client onboarding or acquisition integration in benefits administration.Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills to identify risks and efficiency opportunities.Excellent written and oral communication skills for status updates and documentation.Ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management systems.Preferred experience using Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools with proper validation.Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams successfully.Experience defining, documenting, and improving processes through metrics.This role serves as an entry point in project management career progression within the acquisition delivery discipline.5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:The pay range for this position is 43K to 80K per year, determined by education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.Eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.6.
