Job SummaryThe Accounts Payable Specialist manages bill pay and settlement support processes, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. This role supports daily accounting operations, communicates with clients, and maintains organized financial data while leveraging tools like QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.Key Activities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Bill PayManage full-cycle bill pay processes for clientsEnter bills into Bill.com and generate unpaid bills reports in QuickBooks OnlineCommunicate with clients regarding invoices and paymentsPrint and distribute checks and invoices, including remote check setups Settlement Support ProcessDownload and review statementsEnsure accurate accounting of all final payments, including advanced client costsComplete all tasks necessary to close out cases General AccountingSupport general accounting functions and assist the AccountantMaintain accurate financial recordsCRM maintenance and related administrative tasks Desired Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities1+ year of accounts payable experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com highly preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsClient-focused, collaborative, and process-orientedAnalytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to prioritize multiple tasks efficientlyComfortable learning and using administrative and financial systems Physical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally.
