Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus availableOpportunity:/nRadiologic Technologist - Computed Tomography/n/nJob Details:/n• Specialize in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients/n• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations/n• 13-week contract length/n• Work in ER, Inpatient, and Outpatient units at a Level 2 Trauma facility/n• Hospital experience required/n• Must have 2 years of CT experience required/n• Experience with GE and Phillips equipment required/n• Must have workstation experience/n• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS/n• Must be registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT)/n• Pewter scrubs required/n• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required/n• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education/n• Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for examinations/n• Administer intravenous contrast media including utilization of power injectors/n• Assist Radiologist in performing complex sterile diagnostic procedures such as biopsies/n• Complete all study indexing in Radiology Information System/n• Perform all imaging procedures demonstrating principles of radiation protection/n• May be exposed to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and potentially contagious patients/n• Occasionally lift and move equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 lbs/n/nFacility:/nThis healthcare facility operates as a Level 2 Trauma center providing comprehensive medical services across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
