SAP ABAP Developer (S/4HANA & Embedded Analytics) — Onsite, Atlanta, GA Location: Atlanta, GA Start: ASAP About the Role We’re seeking a hands-on SAP ABAP Developer with strong S/4HANA and Embedded Analytics experience. You’ll build high-performance CDS views, optimize code-to-data on HANA, and deliver analytics/UI solutions with Fiori Elements/UI5—all while tuning performance and partnering across functional and security teams. What You’ll Do Design and develop ABAP CDS views (basic, composite, consumption) with annotations/associations. Build Fiori analytical apps using Fiori Elements, UI5, and JavaScript. Create and configure Analytical Queries (Query Browser & Custom Analytical Queries). Apply ABAP for HANA concepts (AMDP, code-to-data) and optimize SQL on HANA. Leverage the S/4HANA VDM (I_* CDS views) and standard reporting interfaces. Configure Fiori Launchpad, catalogs/groups/spaces; support role-based access. Profile and tune CDS/SQL/HANA artifacts for low latency and high throughput. Integrate with SAP BTP services and (optionally) SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Collaborate with functional (SD/MM/FI/CO), security (Fiori roles), and BASIS teams. Write technical specs, perform unit testing, and support deployments. Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years SAP ABAP development (including S/4HANA projects). Proven CDS view development with annotations, associations, and value helps. Strong ABAP for HANA skills (AMDP, table functions, code-to-data). Experience building Fiori analytical apps (Fiori Elements/UI5/JavaScript). Proficiency with Analytical Queries and the Query Browser. Solid SQL/HANA performance tuning (indexes, hints, explain plans). Working knowledge of VDM and I_* CDS models. Fiori Launchpad configuration and role-based access understanding. Clear communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration skills. Nice to Have SAP BTP integration (destinations, CAP/Node.js/Java exposure). SAC dashboards/models; OData exposure to SAC. CI/CD familiarity (gCTS, Git-based workflows). Experience with security/authorizations for analytics (Fiori catalogs/roles). Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/Information Systems (or equivalent experience).
