1st Shift Production Supervisor
Job DescriptionOur client is a dairy manufacturing company south of La Crosse, Wisconsin in Vernon county. They are seeking a 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join their leadership team and develop their management skills. This company is a well-known food manufacturer that has been providing fresh locally processed, high-quality products for 30+ years. They are looking for someone who will be responsible for manufacturing, efficiency, inventory, safety, and maintenance for the department and shift, assessing needs and helping to achieve company and facility goals in collaboration with other department supervisors and management. They have an excellent group of employees who are highly trained and are looking for a true leader. Responsibilities: Manage and coach the team to success, ensure manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shift 1st shift is 5am-5pm on a 2-2-3 rotating scheduleCollaborate with other shift departments. Follow and enforce all policies and procedures, both company and regulator Ensure safety of all employees Trouble shoot and work with Maintenance team. Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production, both planning and issue resolution The ideal candidate: 3+ years of experience in a food manufacturing facilityHighly motivated.
