Bethany Gardens Skilled Living Center -Full Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance AssistantPosition Overview: the Maintenance Assistant is responsible for maintaining overall cleanliness, Life Safety, and operational functioning of the community in compliance with local, OSHA, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing of all outside contracts and vendors related to community maintenance. This position is a key position who works collaboratively with the leadership team.Essential Job FunctionsCustomer ServiceProvide excellent customer service to internal and external customers · Perform job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional manner · Take initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority · Meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner (visitors include anyone who visits the building; specifically, current residents' families and friends, prospective residents and their families, referral sources, vendors and regulators) · Communicate professionally and cooperate with supervisor and all community personnel · Reinforce a customer experience of the highest quality ·MaintenanceDaily walk through community (including parking area) at beginning and end of shift to monitor general condition and tidiness of environmentRepair drywall and touch-up paint as neededKeep Maintenance Log with list of requested and completed repairsRepair bathroom fixtures and plumbing as neededClean light fixtures on exterior and interior of the building; change light bulbs on exterior and interior common areas of the buildingRespond to resident requests timely and with courtesyMust function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with the residents, coworkers and othersMust be able to assist in the evacuation of the residentsMust be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general publicMust pass criminal background checkJob Type: Full-time:Schedule:8 hour shiftCOVID-19 considerations:Must be vaccinated or willing to receive vaccinationWork Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
