Truck Driver (FEM3 11pm-7am)

Job DescriptionAs a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods using box and/or tractor-trailer trucks. The role includes operating various material handling equipment, including powered industrial trucks in a safe manner.Responsibilities Transport goods between company locations in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. Maintain accurate trip logs in compliance with state and federal regulations; submit logs to office monthly for record retention. Perform required truck and trailer inspections in accordance with legal requirements and promptly communicate and escalate any equipment or safety concerns. Report all incidents and accidents immediately. Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers for both intercompany and over-the-road transportation. Receive and transfer materials to designated storage locations, including production areas, warehouses, and line-side locations. Safely operate tractors, box trucks, and material handling equipment (e.g., powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, strappers, balers) in accordance with established procedures. Complete mandatory shift safety checks and adhere to all PPE and organizational safety protocols. Communicate equipment issues and other concerns—including safety risks, inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damages—to Lead Material Handlers in a timely manner. Support inventory control activities, including physical inventories, cycle counts, shift-based inventory tracking, and spot checks. Consolidate stock and maintain accurate inventory levels as needed. Participate in audit processes and contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to housekeeping standards and 5S principles. Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations. Actively support the improvement of EHS performance by identifying and addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors, preparing for audits, submitting safety improvement ideas, and contributing to ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) systems.The EnvironmentSafety is our highest priority. Employees should be comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold) and in conditions that include exposure to forklift and pedestrian traffic, as well as elevated noise levels.This is a 24/7 Facility and has many different shifts. Here are the hours associated withBlow Mold12-hour schedule-(2/2/3 rotating 12 hours – this means 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, then it will switch). This position is expected to work every other weekend based on schedule:BMD1/D2 is the day shift operating from 6am-6pmBMN1/N2 is a night shift operating from 6pm-6am8-hour shiftsFEM1 – 1 st shift 7am-3pmFEM2 – 2 nd shift 3pm-11pmFEM3 – shift 11pm-7am *(This is the shift associated with this position)The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required CDL-A license requiredBasic math required Forklift experience preferredNo supply chain experience requiredCandidates must possess proficiency in spoken and reading English sufficient to perform the essential functions of this role.Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
