Job Title: QA InspectorLocation: Albany, NY (On-site, 5 days/week)Job Type: 6 Month Contract-to-HirePay Range: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour on W2Start: Urgent (Interviews within 48 hours)Schedule: Monday-FridayJob Description: We are seeking an experienced QA Inspector to support a high-profile federal construction project in the Albany, NY area. This is a critical role on a M fire station build, requiring a professional who can operate effectively in both field and office environments.This position will serve as the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring quality standards are met while coordinating closely with project engineers and government stakeholders.Key Responsibilities: Perform quality assurance inspections following a 3-phase inspection processAct as on-site QA representative (non-directive role to contractors)Identify, document, and escalate quality issuesCollaborate with: Project Engineers, Government representativesReview and respond to: RFIs (Requests for Information), Submittals.Maintain accurate documentation and reportingSupport both field operations and administrative/project documentationRequired Qualifications: 10+ years of construction experienceMinimum 5+ years handling RFIs and submittalsProven ability to work across field and office functionsExperience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC)Active CAT Card required (must have prior to start)Ability to pass (or prior completion of) a federal background check
