About the PositionAdministers written or computer based Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Tests at Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) or other remote testing sites to determine individual qualifications for military service enlistment.This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed" basis.DutiesConduct specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 person (enlistment tests), and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).Instruct applicants on testing procedures and start, observe, time, and end the test or test segment as directed.Utilize computer systems and software to administer computer-based enlistment and student aptitude tests.Responsible for the security and accountability of student test booklets, at home, during transport, and at the testing location.RequirementsAppointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.Term employment is subject to a one year trial period. Employees serving a trial period can be removed with limited appeal rights.Employee must possess a valid driver's license to conduct tests in remote locations or at schools.This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 100% of the time. This position requires 100% travel away from the duty station to conduct testing in remote locations or at schools.Incumbent must complete and receive a favorable determination from required background checks.Incumbent required to lift up to 30 lbs. (Transfer of controlled test material and equipment to/from authorized storage facilities to testing sites, as required.)Work schedule may require on call duty (evenings, weekends, and holidays).J-18808-Ljbffr
