Client: Autonomous Vehicle/Tech Title:Warehouse SupervisorJob Location: Foster City, CADuration: ~6 MonthsThe Pay rate is commensurate with experience and is an estimated range provided by WorkGenius.Warehouse SupervisorLocationFoster City (Fully onsite) ScheduleMonday to Friday from 9am to 5pmAbout this role:This role will supervise the warehouse team in managing, processing, and executing all material movement transactions in an electronic component production environment. This includes physical and transactional tasks such as shipping orders, performing putaways, conducting cycle counts, and resolving invoicing transactions. The role also entails leading and training, setting daily work tasks, and overseeing outbound materials in the warehouse. Additionally, it involves supporting production and quality teams in managing material inventory movements, conducting inventory analysis via cycle counting, and resolving inventory discrepancies. The role also includes supporting material operation projects and special assignments. In this role, you will:Provide effective supervision and coaching to materials team personnel to achieve required production goals. Manage all movement of material through the facility - material receipts, shipments, kits, stocking, and transfers - Manage and provide training on SAP MRP transactions and associated systems, as well as maintain MRP inventory integrity and accuracyOversee shipping/receiving, resolve inbound/outbound order discrepancies, and troubleshoot as needed.Oversee and maintain responsibility over inventory cycle counts and discrepancy resolutionFollow up on pending material orders for completion and work with Production Planning to execute material movement priorities to keep production line stockedOrganize and maintain cleanliness, and enforce safety compliance within the warehouse and associated storage areas.Report on inventory quantity, units processed, and overall material status, as well as relevant metrics.Qualifications:Bachelor's with 4 to 6 of supervisory experience within a warehouse. or H.S. Diploma/GED equivalent with 8 to 10 years of supervisory experience within a warehouse.MRP system experience and knowledge required (SAP, Oracle, etc.).3PL and Logistics experienceRMA, procurement, or return to vendor experience is a plusComfortable working in a startup environment.Physical Requirements:The physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling in excess of 30 pounds, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, climbing, and balancing. Day 1 Requirement: Safety Shoe - Composite toeAll safety shoes listed below must meet the following requirement: Safety Shoes must conform with ASTM F 2412 (Standard Test Methods for Foot Protection) and ASTM F 2413 (Standard Specification Performance Requirements for Foot Protection)This is an onsite opportunity.
