Production Test Technician III
Job Description*$3,000 Sign On Bonus*The Test Technician III performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of a variety of antenna products and related components using RF test equipment and instrumentation. Assembles antennas and related waveguide components to meet manufacturing and customer drawings and specifications utilizing various hand tools, solvents, epoxies and related materials. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. This is a 2nd shift position.ResponsibilitiesWork in a fast-paced production environment to perform testing and troubleshooting of various antennas and componentsSome manual assembly operations are required as part of the test functionCarefully follow production documentation and processes, including keeping detailed records of testing and final data resultsWork collaboratively with co-workers to solve production problems including setting up and performing complex manual testing.Works from a variety of documents including test specifications, ATPs, PSCs, etc. to ensure complete accuracy of product test data results.Verifies and analyzes test results; troubleshoots, repairs and adjusts equipment so that their performance complies with test requirements and that the quality of the product is assured; and determines when rework is necessary to ensure product compliance with specificationsHandle all products with extreme care to avoid causing cosmetic or other superficial damageQualificationsHigh School diploma (or equivalent)3+ years of related experience.Experience with RF/Microwave operation/measurement techniques preferedUnderstanding of passive circuit fundamentals and microwave terminologyAbility to obtain and/or maintain a Security ClearanceAbout Frontgrade ABOUT US At Frontgrade, we build mission-critical electronics that perform without compromise in the world’s most demanding environments, from deep space to national defense.
