Our reputation is built on technical excellence, on-time delivery, and long-term client relationships — and we're growing.Position OverviewWe're hiring an HVAC Project Manager to lead mechanical projects from contract handoff through closeout. You'll own scope, schedule, budget, and client communication on a portfolio of commercial, industrial, institutional, and service/retrofit jobs. This role is ideal for a self-directed PM who thrives on running multiple projects at once, knows how to keep crews productive, and isn't afraid to walk a job site in steel-toes one day and present to a building owner the next.We're open to candidates at the mid-level (2-7 years) or senior (8+ years) experience tier — compensation will reflect what you bring to the table.Key ResponsibilitiesManage HVAC projects across all phases: pre-construction, procurement, installation, commissioning, and closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; track actuals against estimates and report variances proactively.Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, building owners, engineers, and facility managers.Coordinate field labor with foremen and superintendents; ensure crews have the materials, drawings, and equipment needed to stay productive.Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and submittals; identify scope gaps, RFIs, and change order opportunities.Negotiate and process subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and change orders.Manage commercial new-construction installs, industrial process cooling and ventilation systems, institutional projects (hospitals, government, universities), and service/retrofit work on existing systems.Ensure compliance with all applicable codes (NYC, state, OSHA), safety standards, and company quality requirements.Lead project meetings, deliver client updates, and resolve issues before they escalate.Forecast revenue, cost-to-complete, and cash flow on each assigned project; partner with accounting on billings and collections.Mentor project engineers, assistant PMs, and field leads as the team grows.What We're Looking ForRequired:2+ years of project management experience in HVAC, mechanical, or commercial construction.Working knowledge of HVAC systems — air handlers, chillers, boilers, VRF/VAV, controls, ductwork, hydronics, and refrigerant systems.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.Strong command of project financials: estimating review, budgeting, change order management, and cost tracking.Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or equivalent).Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and in front of a client.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across the NY region.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (equivalent field experience also valued).Experience with public works, prevailing wage, or union projects.OSHA 30, EPA 608, and/or PMP certification.Experience managing service contracts and retrofit work in addition to new construction.What We OfferCompetitive base salary ($90K–$125K) with performance-based bonus structureHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid vacation, holidays, and sick leaveCompany vehicle or vehicle allowanceCompany gas cardA collaborative team environment where your work is visible and valuedHow to ApplySend your resume and a brief note about your project experience to [insert email] or apply through our website.
