We partner with long-term care facilities to bring specialized Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) to older adults and medically complex residents, helping them improve emotional well-being, daily functioning, and quality of life in a supportive, integrated care environment.As the Nursing Home Clinical Supervisor TBS, you will provide essential clinical leadership and oversight for our behavioral health programming in multiple partner nursing homes throughout the Cleveland area. This pivotal role ensures the effective delivery of Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) while maintaining the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance (including Medicaid), and trauma-informed, person-centered practices. You will lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health providers, including group facilitators and therapists, while occasionally providing direct services to support program needs.Key Responsibilities:Supervision & Clinical OversightProvide regular individual and group clinical supervision to behavioral health staff, including LPCs, LSWs, QMHS, and CDCAs.Ensure all clinical documentation meets Medicaid, state, agency, and professional standards.Mentor and support staff development through ongoing training, performance feedback, and professional growth opportunities.Guide the team in implementing evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions and person-centered care approaches.Conduct case consultations, support risk assessments, and assist with crisis intervention as needed.Lead initial onboarding and continuous training for group facilitators and other behavioral health team members.Identify training needs and facilitate skill-building to enhance service quality and team effectiveness.Program Management & CollaborationOversee the implementation and delivery of TBS group programming in alignment with individualized treatment plans and all regulatory requirements.Collaborate closely with nursing facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and internal care teams to ensure coordinated, integrated service delivery.Participate in program evaluation, quality assurance activities, and clinical audits.Attend and contribute to team meetings, leadership discussions, and partner facility communications.Direct Services & CoverageProvide direct clinical services, including assessments, treatment planning, and group facilitation, to ensure service continuity and address emergent needs.Offer consultation to facility staff regarding resident engagement, behavioral concerns, and mental health needs.Support the development and review of clinically appropriate treatment plans.Maintain thorough and timely documentation that complies with Medicaid, state, and organizational standards.Qualifications:Required:Active and unrestricted Ohio licensure as an LPCC-S, LISW-S, or LICDC-CS (supervisory designation required).Minimum of 2 years of post-independently licensed clinical experience.Demonstrated experience with Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS), IOP, or similar behavioral health group programming.Strong background working with geriatric populations and/or medically complex individuals.Solid understanding of Medicaid billing and documentation compliance requirements.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and travel across multiple off-site partner facilities in the Cleveland area.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.Preferred:Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems (training provided).Certification or training in trauma-informed care (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).Licensure as LSW or LISW strongly preferred, or equivalent social work licensure based on jurisdiction.Flexibility and adaptability to varying site conditions and team dynamics.Compensation & Benefits:We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
