Position Overview
As a Client Accounting Services (CAS) Senior staff member, you will be responsible for managing the service delivery for a variety of small business, governmental, and non-profit entity clients. Those responsibilities would include but not be limited to the monthly or quarterly financial statements, ad-hoc client projects and quality control review. You'll work closely with partners, managers, and staff to provide quality advice and financial statements to construction, retail, non-profits, and local governments.
This role is ideal for someone with 3–4 years of FR&A or CAS experience who is ready to work in a mid-sized accounting firm with a community feel, take more ownership of the client relationship, and continue growing in a collaborative environment.
Success in this role looks like
Delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial statements and related client deliverables
Managing multiple client engagements with increased independence and accountability
Building strong client relationships through proactive, professional communication
Responding to client requested special projects or identified issues
Supporting the development and review of staff work to maintain quality and efficiency
Work closely with manager and team members on client engagements
Share progress, ask questions, and contribute to team efficiency
Support a collaborative and positive work environment
Qualifications
What You'll Need
3–4 years of bookkeeping or Client Accounting Services experience
Working knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
Experience with accounting software
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Experience in a public accounting environment is a plus
Hybrid schedule available after an appropriate acclimation to our culture and processes
