Group Supervisor
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Group Supervisor to lead and inspire a dynamic team working with children and young learners. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily program operations, ensure a safe and nurturing environment, and promote positive development through engaging activities. Your leadership will foster teamwork, uphold safety standards, and support the growth of both staff and children, creating an enriching experience for all involved.
Duties
Supervise daily activities within the group, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to program schedules
Manage classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and inclusive participation
Support staff in implementing educational curricula focused on childhood development, early childhood education, and special education needs
Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently, including first aid procedures and emergency response readiness
Facilitate communication between staff, children, parents, and external partners to foster a collaborative environment
Organize and oversee recreational activities such as sports coaching, theater performances, or arts projects to enhance learning experiences
Monitor behavior management techniques to support children’s social-emotional growth and address behavioral challenges effectively
Requirements
Proven experience in working with children across various settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare environments
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to handle diverse needs including special education and behavior management
Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
Certification or training in first aid and child safety procedures
Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members
Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere
Experience in Christian counseling or working within faith-based programs is a plus but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
