Production Supervisor bilingual
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring the highest quality of products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food production processes and be familiar with relevant regulations such as HACCP, CGMP, and food safety standards.
Duties
- Oversee the fabrication and assembly of food production equipment and packaging materials.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain proper sanitation practices in the production area.
- Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and packaging materials to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Train and supervise production staff on proper food safety and quality practices.
- Maintain accurate records of production and quality control.
- Package and label products according to company specifications.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth production process.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to food production.
Experience
- Proven experience in a food production environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and quality control practices.
- Familiarity with HACCP, CGMP, and other relevant regulations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with fabrication and assembly processes.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate a forklift.
- Basic math skills for tracking inventory and calculating production metrics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
