As part of our team, you'll have access to educational opportunities at Capella University, plus scholarships and offers to help you save on tuitionIf our company culture matches your values, come join the team at Manhattan Children’s Center!Job DetailsJob TypeFull-Time ABA SupervisorJob HoursMon through Thurs 8:15am-4:15pm; Fri 8:15am-3:00pmJob LocationManhattan, NYJob Compensation$94,000-$97,000 based on education, experience, and certificationsYour Impact Here at MCCProvide administrative, instructional, behavior and training support to MCC faculty and students as this relates to oversight and supervision of classrooms.Conducts in-service training for MCC staffProvide ongoing training to all classroom staff in Applied Behavior Analysis, including direct data collection on staffMentor lead teachers and instructors through professional development goalsInterview candidates for ABA instructor positions as assignedServices to StudentsOversight and supervision of criterion based assessment within assigned classrooms (e.g. ABLLS-R, AFLS, ISB)Analyze student and teacher progress daily, weekly, monthly, and on a semi-annual basisConduct Functional Behavior Assessments and write corresponding Behavior Intervention Plans for studentsConduct Functional Analyses as neededOversight of implementation, training, and development of behavioral interventions (FBA/FA/BIP) in conjunction with lead teachersReview, edit and finalize IEPs, progress reports, schedules and all other student related documentsParticipate in IEP meetings, including notes, advocacy, parent preparation and ensuring timely documentation to the CPSE/CSEProvide BCBA supervision to BCBAs-in-trainingMonitor student programming, data collection, and behavior plan implementationServices to ParentsConfers with parents as an integral part of the task of helping increase understanding, constructive participation in resolving the student’s educational, home and community based needsEstablishes and maintains open, positive lines of communication with parents concerning programmingAttends clinical team meetings and provides follow up parent training where warranted or requested by the familyAdministrativeComplies with and implements school policies & procedures.Ensures adequate supervision of MCC students at all times while engaged in community integration activities.Attend professional meetings to keep abreast of new information, regulations and technologies as they pertain to ABAReview and assist faculty members in grant applications that pertain to assigned classroomsOther duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Education, Director of Education and Chief Administrative OfficerRequirementsMinimum of a master’s degree (there are a limited number of positions available to those without a bachelor’s degree)Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA)NYS Licensed Behavioral Analyst (LBA)Two years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities in a school settingEnergetic, can-do attitude and a willingness to collaborate with teachers, related service providers, parents, and other facultyManhattan Children’s Center is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
