The DevOps Engineer will serve as a resource who will be accountable and take ownership on assigned projects and tasks for delivery with quality and timeliness in mind. They will partner with application/data teams as a trusted partner to ensure DevOps and Cloud processes, standards and best practices are adopted to develop and deploy application in public cloud providers. They need to be self-motivated and driven, experts in their field with deep hands on experience.In addition to the JD, please keep in mind the following when looking for candidates:Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Proficiency in managing and deploying applications on public cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), including experience with infrastructure as cod (Terraform).Automation and CI/CD Pipeline Management: Strong skills in automating workflows, setting up and managing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps Tools, Veracode, Copilot.Knowledge of AI/ML: Lifecycle management, including deploying, monitoring and scaling LLM, SLM using Cloud platforms like Azure Open AI.Experience working in highly matrixed organizations.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Position DescriptionAs a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, integration, implementation, automation and optimization of DevOps processes and workflows. You will focus on Azure cloud services, CI/CD build and deployment automation. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, seamless deployment, management and reliability of cloud-based applications and services to the organization. You will partner closely with IT development, operations, and architecture teams to automate processes, optimize performance, and streamline our software delivery process. You will develop and maintain application tools that streamline source code management and automate build, test, and deploy phases of SDLC process.Design and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on Azure using industry best practices leveraging the Well-Architected (WAF) and Cloud Adoption (CAF) based frameworks. Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform to automate and standardize cloud infrastructure deployments through the approved CAF pattern and configuration of AI services. Develop and maintain secure DevOps CI/CD pipeline automating software delivery process to enable automated build, test, deploy, operate, and monitor new versions of Cloud applications and AI models. Monitor cloud environment health and drive improvements to enhance reliability, availability, and performance. Implement and maintain a wide variety of Azure cloud services using Terraform IaC. These include, but not limited to: Azure APIM, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Cosmos DB, SQL MI, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Service Bus, Event Hub, ADF, Azure VM Scale sets, App GW, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, WAF, AFD, CDN IR, AKS, Azure Machine Learning services for applications and scalable AI deployments. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for deploying MS Dynamics CRM 365 solutions, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows. Build CI/CD pipelines to automate the training, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML models. Collaborate with IT Security and Enterprise Architecture team to ensure cloud solutions implemented are compliant with regulatory frameworks HIPAA HITRUST, NIST, CIS Azure Foundation, Azure CSPM and Microsoft CS benchmark. Integrate security checks at various stages of the CI/CD pipelines to ensure that security assessments are performed automatically during code build, testing, and deployment. Coordinate closely with Agile teams, to align with DevOps practices, tools, and processes to optimize the software delivery pipeline, ensuring smooth and efficient releases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify DevOps automation opportunities, and develop robust solutions that meets business needs. Stay up to date with DevOps tools and technologies to increase efficiency and reliability of CI/CD, as well as being involved with their administration and maintenance. Implement and maintain DORA metrics and value stream management to capture deployment frequency, lead time for changes, failure rate and time to restore services. Continuously refine and streamline CI/CD pipeline by applying several strategies like Parallelization, Static Code Analysis, Automated Testing, and DevSecOps Integration, Deployment Models (Blue/Green, Canary) and Release Cycles. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to prototype with new technologies that will improve CI/CD process. Stay up to date on new and emerging cloud Azure PaaS, AI services, AI/ML practices ensuring Client’s cloud landing zone is leveraging the latest benefits from cloud providers and best-in-class AI/ML deployments in cloud. Identify, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities across the cloud development and testing environments by coordinating with developers, security teams to address critical issues promptly. Provide technical guidance to IT team members in the area of DevOps, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Other projects and duties as assigned.EducationBachelor's Degree, in Computer Science preferred; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.Required ExperienceAt least 7 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on IaC and CI/CD Software delivery process with at least four years of experience in Azure infrastructure, including compute, network, database, Azure AI/ML, and security.Experience with version control systems, particularly GIT, including branching and code review processes.Strong experience with Azure DevOps agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, including YAML configuration, triggers, build agents, release management, and deployment strategies.Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tool Terraform, ARM (Azure Resource Manager) for automated provisioning and configuration management using Azure DevOps pipeline.Experience of SDLC practices including coding standards, testing, code reviews, source control management, and operations.Preferred ExperienceFamiliarity with the health care industry.Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws, and secure coding practices.Experience with source control and continuous integration tools.Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud PaaS & SaaS.
