As a Special Education Paraeducator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. Your compassion, patience and commitment to inclusivity will make a significant impact on the lives of our students.Key Responsibilities are:Work closely with special education teachers to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, offering assistance with academic and social skills development.Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being.Support students during meals, recess and other non-academic activities.Document student progress and communicate effectively with teachers.Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for all students.Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.Position offers:Work the school year and have your summers off with insurance benefits all year long.Paid time off and paid holidays.$16.94 per hour.Hours are:High School 7:15am-1:45pmMiddle School 8:00am-2:30pmIntermediate School 8:45am-3:15Additional and/or summer hours are available either at the school or our Family Resource CenterEOE
