Director of Social Media
We are looking for an experienced Director of Social Media to guide social strategy, paid media performance, and influencer initiatives for a portfolio of brands in Atlanta, Georgia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who can balance high-level planning with day-to-day team direction in a fast-moving, multi-brand environment. The role calls for someone who can strengthen campaign results, support client relationships, and maintain operational consistency while leading part-time engagement.Responsibilities:• Direct social media and influencer marketing activities across multiple brand accounts, ensuring priorities remain aligned with business objectives.• Provide day-to-day leadership for the team by assigning work, setting short-term goals, and maintaining high standards for execution and deliverables.• Oversee paid social programs with a focus on Meta platforms, guiding campaign setup, pacing, optimization, and budget use.• Evaluate campaign results across reach, engagement, conversion activity, and efficiency metrics, then turn findings into practical recommendations.• Lead influencer initiatives from planning through completion, including creator selection, partnership coordination, and performance review.• Act as a senior point of contact for social strategy discussions, contributing to client meetings, presentations, and ongoing recommendations.• Build social plans that connect brand goals with channel-specific tactics, content direction, and measurable outcomes.• Improve workflows, reporting structures, and key performance indicators to increase consistency, visibility, and scalability across programs.• At least 3 years of experience in social media marketing with demonstrated team leadership responsibility.• Strong background managing paid social campaigns, especially within Meta Ads Manager for Facebook and Instagram.• Proven success overseeing influencer marketing programs and creator partnerships.• Experience working in an agency, franchise, or other multi-client environment with competing priorities.• Ability to interpret campaign data and use performance insights to guide strategic decisions.• Confident communication skills with the ability to work effectively in client-facing situations.• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and workstreams at once.• Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Business Manager, TikTok Ads, influencer tools, and project management systems is preferred.Innovation starts with people.®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
