CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver - Dana Corp - $260/Day - 5 Day Week Description of a typical day/week: Drivers on this dedicated account service the auto parts manufactured by Dana Corp in Gordonsville, TN that deliver to the PTI plant in Jeffersonville, IN. Drivers are loaded back to Dana Corp in Gordonsville, TN that will deliver when you pick up the next day’s load. Drivers haul one load per day. The freight lane runs 5 days a week Monday thru Friday, except for holidays. It is just-in-time delivery with high service requirements that can impact plant line shut downs. The account utilizes 2 total drivers to cover 10 loads per week. Drivers are usually assigned either the AM or PM shift 1 load per day (5 loads per week) Tractor Equipment: Standard sleeper truck Freight Type: Auto assembly parts – Preload at shipper Gordonsville TN / Live Delivery & Reload in Jeffersonville IN (1-2hours) Division: Dedicated Division 025 Estimated Number of Drivers: 1 (current open shift, starting at 5am) Fleet Manager: Heidi Waters Driver Domicile Locations: Gordonsville, TN or Jefferson, IN (within 25 miles) or in route Truck Parking Policy (terminal, customer, home): Home Expected Miles per week: 1775 per week Average Length of Haul: 355 miles Pay Package: Salary - $260 per day 5 days = $1300 Expected Time at Home: It will depend on the driver’s domicile. If living in route can go home daily for break and off on weekends. The driver will work with his Fleet Manager to manage time off requests. Time off requests need to be communicated 2 weeks in advance. This account requires a driver that is flexible and willing to adjust his/ her schedule to meet the needs of the customer.
