Building & Grounds Maintenance Partner 1
Responsibilities
Job Summary: As a Building & Grounds Industrial Maintenance Partner, you'll maintain H-E-B facilities and systems in a professional manner to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability. You'll support our mission to be a world class maintenance management organization using the latest in technology, processes, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Maintenance / Troubleshooting / Repair & Replacement:
Buildings
Performs basic office remodel skills
Applies knowledge of proper dock maintenance methods
Repairs / replaces basic plumbing fixtures
Mechanical
Repairs / lubes / changes out / performs preventive maintenance (PM) on sprockets, bearings, belts, and sheaves on industrial equipment
Resets auto doors, auto gates, and entry / exit turnstiles
Hydraulics & Pneumatics
Performs skill-level appropriate PM on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Fire Systems
Applies knowledge of wet systems to assist in troubleshooting / repair / replacement
Electrical
Troubleshoots / repairs basic 120/277 VAC circuits for lighting and equipment
Adheres to safe practices when working with electrical equipment

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Working knowledge / understanding of the principles of 3-phase AC voltage sources (480 VAC), the functions and use of amp meters and multimeters, and Ohm's law - Strong organization and time-management skills - Written / verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks; attention to detail - Initiative -

Licenses/Certifications:
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:Work while standing, sitting, stooping, walking, bending, with hands over head, and in prone positionClimb; work from a ladder and other elevated work platforms (manlift, scissor lift, catwalk, silo)Lift and carry 75 lbsWork in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degrees
