Java Developer

Duties Develop, test, and deploy high-quality Java applications aligned with project requirements and best practices in software engineering. Design system architectures using design patterns and system design principles to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Collaborate with front-end developers utilizing JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular to create seamless web experiences. Build and maintain RESTful APIs for efficient communication between services, ensuring security and performance. Implement microservices architecture within cloud infrastructure environments like AWS or Azure to enhance system flexibility and scalability. Use version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, or Git for code management, along with CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. Optimize database interactions through SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL or similar systems, ensuring data integrity and performance. Apply knowledge of application development best practices including software design patterns, scalability strategies, and API development. Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to promote team collaboration. Contribute to system documentation, code reviews, and testing procedures to uphold quality standards across all projects. Experience Proven experience in Java development within a fast-paced environment focused on web or enterprise application development. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including cloud services (AWS/Azure), Linux environments, and network protocols. Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus for integrating backend services; familiarity with other programming languages like Python or C++ is advantageous. Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable systems using microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as JavaScript frameworks (React Express) for full-stack development projects. Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver iterative software solutions efficiently. Familiarity with version control systems like GitHub or SVN along with CI/CD tools for streamlined deployment workflows. Understanding of security principles including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) and best practices for application security. Ability to work effectively in collaborative teams while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
