Sanitation Technician 3rd Shift
Shift: 9:30 PM-6:00 AMHourly Rate: $23.50 an hour + $1.00 shift differentialReporting to the Sanitation Team Leader, you will support sanitation operations across the facility with a primary focus on maintaining clean, safe, and food‑ready equipment and environments. You will support the packaging line as needed to ensure production standards, food safety expectations, and operational schedules are met. This is an hourly role that is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday.Schedule: Wednesday Through SundaySupport packaging operations during production runs, including monitoring automated and manual lines and completing line checksRotate through multiple packaging and production roles throughout the shiftPackage finished products to meet production and quality standardsUse pallet jacks to move materials and finished goodsCollaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to support operationsPerform sanitation on processing and packaging equipment following food safety standardsClean and sanitize freezers during defrost cyclesClean equipment, tools, and work areas using approved chemicals, foamers, nozzles, and high-pressure hosesOperate scissor lifts or stair rollers to clean elevated equipment and surfacesComplete basic janitorial tasks, including exterior areas, restrooms, and breakroomsDocument sanitation activities and report concerns to the Sanitation Team LeaderIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or GED.Experience working in a sanitation, manufacturing, or food production environment.Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and cleaning chemicals.Willingness to work an onsite schedule from Wednesday through Sunday.Willingness to cross train on the packaging line as needed.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.Effective communication skills and a team‑focused mindset.Physical RequirementsRequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process.
